Description:
The goal of this course is to help students get a broad understanding of Chinese history and civilization. Particularly, this course will give students from different background a chance to examine Chinese history and culture from multiple perspectives and to make a dialogue with each other. Meanwhile, this introductory humanity course will also help students develop some important academic skills, such as critical thinking and writing a thesis-driven paper.
