On April 12, UM-SJTU Joint Institute celebrated her eighth anniversary by laying the cornerstone of the new JI building. It was also a Homecoming Day for many JI alumni, who attended the groundbreaking ceremony and an alumni forum. On the same weekend, as the testing ground for SJTU’s international collaboration in education, JI exhibited her achievements in international education at 11th Shanghai Education Globalization Expo.
