To give the University of Michigan- Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Institute (UM-SJTU JI) students a break amidst the busy summer semester, the JI Student Union organized a basketball tournament on July 19. It was attended by 18 teams composed of JI freshman through graduate students. After fierce competitions, the Senior Team emerged as the champion.
The first half of the final between the Junior Team and the Senior Team ended with the Senior Team leading 37:20.
The second half of the final ended with the Senior Team winning 53:38
