The annual SJTU Entrance Exam Advisory Fair was held in the Xuhui campus on April 29, 2012.
More than a thousand prospective students and parents showed up to learn about SJTU’s recruiting policies and information about the majors offered. The JI recruiting team included Associate Dean Peisen Huang, several teachers, students, and parent volunteers, who introduced JI and answered people’s questions.
Despite the rain, JI attracted a lot of attention. Big crowd gathered in front of the JI booth. People were interested in JI’s international education model, dual degree program, and graduate placement. During the event, a group of 2012 incoming students and their parents volunteered to help answer questions. At the end of the fair, when all other booths were dismantled, people were still lingering in front of JI’s booth. Among those who came for the advisement, many were high school freshmen and sophomores and their parents who want to get a head start.
