Description:

The focus of this course will be the understanding of the basics methods and tools for big data. In particular, it will discuss the statistical background as well as the computer engineering side, providing the students with clear insights on how to process and analyses large data sets. Students are expected to obtain a good knowledge of the modern data analysis algorithms and the most cutting-edge big data technologies and frameworks, such as Hadoop, Spark, and Drill.
