Description:

Students will write, share, and read poems, and engage in conversation about their work and that of established poets. Students will gain knowledgeable in several poetic forms, develop a keener sense of poetry by participating in the poetic tradition, and become more aware of their own artistic visions.

2. Looking at the history of poetry
