The goal of the scholarship is to encourage SJTU students to actively engage in international affairs activities, especially to intern at the United Nations, the World Health Organization, and other international organizations.

Sam & Daisy Wu Scholarship Fund
The 7th SJTU Freshman Mechanical Competition was held on May 15 evening. This year the highly anticipated event was sponsored by Zhejiang Liming Engine Parts Co., Ltd.
The “Yu Liming Endowed Scholarship Fund” is a permanent fund for SJTU. A percentage of the annual profit will be earmarked as scholarships for JI’s outstanding students, so that more students can fulfill their dreams and become China’s future leaders.
On June 28, the Joint Institute received a wonderful gift from Mr. Jackson Lum (林積順) and his wife, Muriel Lum (趙妙霞), who have donated $1,000,000 to the University of Michigan and established the Jackson and Muriel Lum Endowed Scholarship Fund.
