JI faculty member receives MediaTek excellent research award
The University of Michigan-Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Institute (UM-SJTU JI, JI hereafter) faculty member Aimin Tang has become a recipient of the inaugural MediaTek Advanced Research Center (MARC) Excellent Research Award. Tang received an Honorable Mention prize for for his project titled Key Technologies for Integrated Sensing and Communications, according to a recent announcement of MediaTek Inc., a leading global semiconductor enterprise. More than 60 projects from worldwide research institutes participated in the competition.
