The University of Michigan-Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Institute (UM-SJTU JI, JI hereafter) Associate Professor Lei Shao and his collaborators have published a research article titled “A wave-confining metasphere beamforming acoustic sensor for superior human-machine voice interaction” in Science Advances,  a peer-reviewed multidisciplinary open-access scientific journal run by the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
