讲座摘要
Blade tip design of High-Pressure turbine is directly related to the performance, life and safety of the gas turbines. Driven by pressure difference between pressure side and suction side, tip leakage flow is formed by high pressure and high temperature fluid in the tip region. The related aerodynamic penalty can reach one third of turbine stage loss. At the same time, hightemperature leakage flow generates high thermal load to blade tip, making it one of the most ablative hot end components. Different tip sealing and cooling design strategies are applied to reduce the OTL loss and help the turbine survive in high temperature environment. Accurate and efficient Aero-Thermal experiments are important to understand flow physics and evaluate their performance. What have been missed among the existing experimental research are high Mach number, high rotating speed, and high temperature ratios which occur in the real engine condition. In this talk, the effect of these key boundary conditions will be evaluated one by one, experimentally and numerically. Novel experimental design concepts and first-of-its-kind benchmark experimental data from a newly built high-speed disk rotor will be presented. Research outlook in future gas turbine experimental research will be discussed.
主讲人简介
Hongmei Jiang received her PhD degree from JI in 2018, currently working as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow under the supervision of Professor Qiang Zhang. In the field of energy, power and propulsion, Dr Jiang’s research focuses on cooling techniques in gas turbine and thermal management. With her involvement, transonic tip heat transfer data under the rotating transonic condition was obtained for the first time. She successfully secured two research projects (over 1 million) as an independent PI. She has published eight SCI Journal papers, eleven conference papers, and one patent.
