讲座摘要
Abstract: Acoustic sensors are widely applied in marine target identification, underwater communication, and other fields. Compared to optical hydrophones, the traditional piezoelectric hydrophones are limited by many factors under practical circumstances due to their less resistance to high temperature and electromagnetic interference. Among many optical sensors, the surface plasmon resonance (SPR) cavity-based optical sensors have a small size, large bandwidth, and good environmental stability, but the lower Q value of the cavity leads to low sensitivity. In this thesis, we propose to use materials with low elastic modulus and large acoustic-optical coefficients to fabricate SPR cavities, which can improve sensitivity.
主讲人简介
Tian Shi received his B.S. degree from Sun Yat-sen University of Optoelectronic Information Science and Engineering in 2019. He is currently an M.S. student at UM-SJTU Joint Institute, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research focuses on surface plasmon cavities on optical fiber end-facets for underwater acoustic detection.
