讲座摘要
Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) is now widely used in many aspects of the modern industry due to its high power density, high energy efficiency, and prompt dynamic response. The general PMSM drives mainly consist of the rotor position sensing module, the current controller module, and the power inverter module. With the development of power electronics technology, the cost-effective control techniques for these modules in PMSM drives becomes more and more demanding. In this thesis, the author has proposed three advanced control techniques, namely, flux position observer, explicit model predictive current controller, and capless power tracking controller to improve the system performance but at a low cost. Firstly, a nonlinear extended state observer is proposed for the position sensorless PMSM drives. Once the rotor position is available for the PMSM drives, the author has designed an explicit model predictive controller for the current reference tracking of the motor. Further, a direct power tracking controller is proposed for the capless PMSM drives to further reduce the hardware cost.
主讲人简介
Mingming Zhang received his B.S. degree in School of Mechanical Engineering from East China University of Science and Technology, China, in 2015, and his master degree in School of Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University in 2019. Now, he is a Ph.D. candidate student at University of Michigan-Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Institute, supervised by Professor Jun Zhang. His current research focuses on the motion control for industrial drives.
