讲座摘要
The Terahertz band (0.1-10 THz) holds enormous potential for supporting unprecedented data rates and millimeter-level sensing accuracy thanks to its ultra-broad bandwidth. Terahertz integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) is viewed as a game-changing technology to realize connected intelligence in the sixth-generation (6G) and beyond wireless systems. This dissertation is dedicated to the waveform design and signal processing for THz ISAC systems. From the perspectives of the time-frequency domain, delay-Doppler domain, and time-frequency-space domain, three types of THz ISAC systems are respectively investigated in terms of the transmit waveforms and receiver algorithms, including the DFT-s-OFDM, the DFT-s-OTFS, and the UM-MIMO-OFDM systems. The findings from this dissertation have significant guidance on the potential candidates for THz ISAC waveforms and improvement on the performance metrics of communication and sensing algorithms.
主讲人简介:
Yongzhi Wu received the B.E. degree in electronic and information engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2019. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the UM-SJTU Joint Institute of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, supervised by Prof. Chong Han. His current research interests include terahertz communications, integrated sensing and communication.
