Abstract

This talk will discuss ways in which Generative AI is being taught to engineering majors, both for the research and writing process, and for the engineering design process. This includes AI image generation for testing and training purposes. How can we help students incorporate AI into their engineering workflow, via human-in-the-loop (HITL) or machine-in-the-loop (MITL) approaches? How can we train students to use ethics frameworks when incorporating AI into their work? These and other Gen AI-related topics in engineering education will be covered.
