2012 JI Smart Car Contest a Success
The annual JI Smart Car Contest kicked off at the VG 100 Lab on October 26. Eighty-eight freshmen from 18 teams participated in this highly anticipated race, which was overseen by Prof. Peisen Huang and also attended by many enthusiastic parents.

JI Students Win First Prize in Shanghai Mathematical Contest in Modeling
The results of 2012 National College Mathematical Contest in Modeling, Shanghai Division, were announced recently. The JI team consisting of Zhou Xintao, a junior, Luo Jiaxi, and Zhu Ruihao, both sophomores, won the first prize.
