Xuan Yang, a student of Class 2010, has published his complete solution to Problem 260 in the November 2011 issue of Math Horizons which is an official journal of the Mathematical Association of America. In the same issue, he is also listed as a solver for Problem 258.
Problem 258 (You Can’t Please Everyone): Xuan is the first among the list of solvers. The editor writes a summary of the solutions.   Problem 260 (A Perimetric Equation): This problem is tricky because people do not know what mysterious identity to prove. Several JI students tried, but Xuan Yang is the only one who submitted a correct solution. He is also the only student solver among the other three solvers to this problem. His solution is very neat and was selected to be published in its entirety as a standard answer for that problem.   Professor Danrun Huang, Vv255 Instructor remarked, “Xuan’s mathematical talent is not a surprise to me. In fact, he had a very solid math background as a freshman. He was the only student in my class (Multivariable Calculus & Linear Algebra) of 162 to receive a perfect score on the Final Exam and the only student to receive a perfect score on all the Midterm Exams and Quizzes. He was ranked number one in that class.”
