JI is building a brand new web site, the window to showcase JI to the world! For that we are collecting fresh and unique photographs that represent JI.
1. Theme：all about UM-SJTU Joint Institute
2. Organizer：JI Communication Office
3. Photographers：All JI faculty and staff, alumni, parents, prospective students, corporate partners.
4. Deadline：July 22, 2013
5. Photo requirements：
1) Subjects: People, events, and scenes of JI, which reflect JI’s international characteristics, innovation, high tech, vibrancy, excellent teachers and students. Catch JI cultivating future global leaders.
2) Categories:
- Campus scenery of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, JI, University of Michigan, including landscape, school buildings, classrooms, labs, libraries, dormitories, cafeterias, etc.
- Snap shots of student activities, faculty teaching and doing research, etc.
- Artistic creation with the JI theme
3) Format: High-resolution JPG
4) Use of Photoshop on the original photos is allowed as long as there is no distortion of reality.
5) All contributors agree to allowing JI the use of their photos for non-commercial publicity and reporting purpose. The photographers will be credited but not paid.
6) Entry submission:
a. The file name of each photo should be in the format of “Title” + name + class + mobile number, with a description of no more than 50 words.

6. Reward
All entries will be judged by a panel of specialists. If accepted, the photos will be used in JI’s various publicity materials. Outstanding photographers will be rewarded with special prizes and may be appointed as JI photographers for future assignments.
