To plan for JI’s future development, the Joint Institute held her annual team building on September 20 to brain storm the strategies for the next 6 years. Sixty-three faculty and staff members attended the event.
The theme of this year’s team building is “JI 2020” with six topics: faculty recruitment, undergraduate education, graduate program, international program, research development, finance, and administration. The faculty and staff were divided into groups to discuss various topics thoroughly and present the conclusions.
In order to accomplish the goals of the team building, Honorary Dean Jun Ni, Dean Peisen Huang, and Party Secretary Xinwan Li had prepared the topics and laid out the meeting plan beforehand.
The Joint Institute has accomplished a great deal after 8 years of growth. At this juncture of critical transition and breakthrough, a clear strategy and development plan is especially important. The results of the discussions at this team building will be documented and become the blue print for JI’s plan for 2020.
