In his opening speech, Chairman of the JI Council Ming Yang expressed his hope for students to cultivate perseverance, continuously enhance camaraderie, and develop a habit of embracing sports. “This spring sports event is more than just a competition, it is a testament to the power of collaboration and friendship,” he said.
JI leaders including Ming Yang, Dean Chien-Pin Chen, Associate Dean for Graduate Education Yongxing Shen, along with GIFT Executive Dean Sun Jin, blow the whistle together to announce the opening of the sports event.

Held at the SJTU Fok Ying Tung Sports Center on March 16, the event featured six activities: Bridge Demolition, Dry Land Dragon Boat, Crab Carrying Watermelon, Dry Land Curling, Frisbee Tic-Tac-Toe, and Tug of War. Participants showcased their athletic prowess and team spirit, igniting a sense of camaraderie and excitement throughout the day.
Winning teams receive awards from JI Deputy Party Secretary Chong Wang, Manager of Student Affairs Office Qi Wu and class advisor representatives.
