On August 27, over 300 new faces arrived at the University of Michigan-Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Institute (UM-SJTU JI, JI hereafter) on the SJTU Minhang campus, officially joining the JI family and embarking on their exciting college journey ahead.
At the registration point, they met enthusiastic upperclassmen and fellow newcomers, received a fantastic welcome kit, and shared their hopes and wishes for the new semester. They also added their personal touch to the JI mascot, the Blue Tiger, and took their very first college photo at the check-in wall.
